鉴黄师app's A.D. Henderson School to Host SeaPerch Competition

鉴黄师app鈥檚 A.D. Henderson University School will host local middle school and high school teams in a regional SeaPerch competition on Saturday, April 2, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

鉴黄师app鈥檚 A.D. Henderson University School will host local middle school and high school teams in a regional SeaPerch competition on Saturday, April 2, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the A.D. Henderson University School pool, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus. 鉴黄师app鈥檚 Marine Robotics Club and Human Powered Submarine Club organized the event.

Each team of 鉴黄师app has built an underwater remotely operated vehicle (ROV), which they must navigate through an obstacle course consisting of five rings. This is followed by a 鈥淔inesse鈥 Challenge, in which ROV鈥檚 must perform a series of delicate tasks remotely. Teams also will present a poster presentation to a panel of judges, which will include 鉴黄师app High School 鉴黄师app and volunteers from local industry partners.

The top middle school team and top high school team will qualify to compete in the National SeaPerch Challenge at Louisiana State University in May. The top teams will also receive trophies designed and fabricated by 鉴黄师app High School 鉴黄师app.

SeaPerch is a national program that provides 鉴黄师app with the opportunity to learn about robotics, engineering, science, and mathematics. While building an ROV, 鉴黄师app learn about problem solving and teamwork, and are exposed to careers in naval architecture and marine engineering.
