鉴黄师app鈥檚聽聽in the聽聽was recently gifted a Frank Lloyd Wright collection of artwork, books and other collectibles 鈥 totaling 189 items 鈥 by Donald and Elaine Singer.听
鈥淢y wife and I donated our collection to enhance the research and teaching of architecture at 鉴黄师app,鈥 said Singer. 鈥淥ur hope is that it enriches the lives of generations of 鉴黄师app and faculty to come.鈥
Wright was a renowned American architect, interior designer, writer and educator who designed more than 1,100 iconic buildings throughout the United States.听
鈥淭he Donald and Elaine Singer Collection will be so impactful for the 鉴黄师app and faculty in the School of Architecture,鈥 said , dean of the College for Design and Social Inquiry. 鈥淲e are honored that the Singers have gifted us such a special collection.鈥
The Donald and Elaine Singer Collection will be housed at 鉴黄师app鈥檚 Fort Lauderdale campus and is available for viewing in the resource room for 鉴黄师app and faculty. A portion of the books will be housed in the 鉴黄师app Libraries鈥 Rare Books Collection, which will be accessible to 鉴黄师app鈥檚 faculty.听聽
