鉴黄师app Announces Laptop Loaner Program for First-Gen, Low Income Students

When 鉴黄师app transitioned to remote learning due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the partnered with 贵础鲍鈥檚 to assist 鉴黄师app in need of access to educational materials and did not have a capable laptop. 聽
The 鉴黄师app Libraries repurposed 100 laptops for long-term loan to 鉴黄师app, enabling them to continue with their college education without missing a beat.聽
鈥淢eeting the needs of 贵础鲍鈥檚 鉴黄师app has always been our top priority and the long-term loan of laptops during the pandemic is just one more example of our continually evolving services to 鉴黄师app,鈥 said , dean of the 鉴黄师app Libraries.聽
贵础鲍鈥檚 recently received a grant of $45,000 from the Johnson Scholarship Foundation to purchase 75 additional laptops. The Johnson Scholarship Foundation awarded the grant as a COVID-19 relief initiative for first-generation, low-income 鉴黄师app at 鉴黄师app.聽
鈥淚 was able to successfully take all my online exams that required specific proctored-software programs thanks to the laptop loaner program, and it made such a difference for me,鈥 said Jorge Rodriguez, 鉴黄师app student.
The laptop loan period is for a full semester and 鉴黄师app can request an extension if needed.
鈥淚 greatly appreciate the support from 鉴黄师app to allow 鉴黄师app like me with less means to have access to the tools needed during the pandemic to continue my journey of success,鈥 said Ondre Reid, 鉴黄师app student.聽
