FLDOE Awards $100,000 to 鉴黄师app鈥檚 Holocaust Education Center
The Florida Department of Education recently awarded 鉴黄师app鈥檚 Center for Holocaust and Human Rights Education (CHHRE) $100,000 to serve as the administrator of the聽. The Center is one of the聽only designated task force sites with ongoing services within the State University System of Florida.聽
The CHHRE serves all schools in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Glades and Okeechobee counties by providing training and resources to teachers involved in Holocaust and genocide education. The CHHRE is an integral unit of 鉴黄师app鈥檚聽.
鈥淭his award is further proof of the commitment of 鉴黄师app to promoting issues of tolerance, equality and fundamental human rights,鈥 said聽, executive director of聽the Peace, Justice and Human Rights Initiative.
The goal of the CHHRE is to educate 鉴黄师app about the Holocaust so they can apply their knowledge and analytical skills to the events of past and present genocides.聽
